Can't Get Enough is bookended by two instrumental tracks labeled "Mellow Mood" parts 1 and 2. The strings and echoed beat come out of the speaker and changes the tempo of the room. Once that pace is set, Barry begins "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" with a spoken intro before launching into his bass-baritone crooning. What struck me as I listened to this album is that you could easily substitute Barry's voice for Tom Jones. Not saying the result would be equal, but there isn't much difference between Tom's best-known soul hits and what you hear on this album.

While this there is a unified feel to the songs as the soundtrack to a night of wooing the opposite sex, it is barely over 30 minutes long. I can't imagine getting busy with this album on vinyl...stopping what you're doing after 15 minutes to flip the record. But what Can't Get Enough lacks in duration, it make up for in quality. While the two hit singles of the album ("You're the First, the Last, My Everything" and "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe") absolutely stand out, the rest of the album has songs that don't disappoint.

Songs I knew I liked: "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" and "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe"

Songs I didn't know but now like: "Oh Love, Well We Finally Made It"

Songs I can go the rest of my life without hearing again: None
