I've loved Ding How for so long -- I used to go to the original one on Triana Blvd. I still feel they make the best Mongolian beef that I have ever tried (and that's usually the first thing I try at a restaurant). However, since moving back to town, I haven't been all that impressed with their other items. It's still good Chinese, but...
A month ago, two folks separately recommended China Sun in that strip mall across Bailey Cove from Grissom. I tried it and loved the pork lo mein and thought their egg rolls were the best I've had in a few years. We've gotten food from there about four times and each meal is as good or better than the last. JD and I have ordered several things off the menu and they were all superb.
Very much worth trying if you're in SE H'ville.

Date: 2005-04-27 04:14 am (UTC)In answer to where I lived. Well I started in Woodstock and then to Springfield, moved to Alexandria, then Springfield, Lake Ridge, Woodbridge, and then Lorton. After Lorton I moved to Baltimore with Rob. I was up there for about 8 1/2 years, most of which were spent with my ex husband.
I loved it up there, after I left my ex. I loved going to the museums. I worked about two blocks from the National Gallery of Art. I loved going there. I would love to go back up there. I have a job waiting for me. I really do. My boss there loved me!
