Home for the Day
Mar. 3rd, 2005 09:18 amI woke up yesterday with a knot in my left shoulder. Got through the day okay, but woke up today with a beaver-sized area covering my left shoulder and neck that ACHES! No head turning allowed today.
Thankfully, JD will be taking the tykes out in a couple of hours for errands and a rendezvous w/ her mom.
Calvin was Soooooo sweet this morning. He comes to wake me up and I tell him that Daddy's neck hurts.
"Calvin make Daddy neck all better?"
"Yes, Calvin, do you want to rub Daddy's neck?"
"Calvin rub Daddy's neck feel all better."
He climbs onto the bed and rubs (very lightly unfortunately) my neck and shoulders.
"Daddy feel happy now?"
Awwww. It did nothing on the physical side, but just melted my heart. He can be such a helpful lad. Or as they would say in Thomas the Tank Engine - Calvin is such a useful engine!
