Just saw that the Father of Gonzo Journalism committed suicide earlier tonight. Can't say that I'm very surprised given his quirky persona, but I feel really bummed out.

If you have never read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, go grab a copy and give it a read. Also, watch "Where the Buffalo Roam" instead of the Johnny Depp movie version of Fear&Loathing.

yea! He was my roommate's favourite author. It is sad, I never read him but did read clips of his works. He was intelligent and it's always a sad day when one of those dies.
