I totally agree dude. Philanthropy needs to come back. What are people gonna do with all that money? If I were rich I would create an "Adopt a College student" program. Pay for them to go to school and all. I'd spread my money as far as it can go. No need for everyone's life to suffer.
It's just a given to me that you voluntarily share your wealth. That doesn't mean that you hand out dollar bills all of the time, but giving thanks to society for what they've given you (directly or indirectly) is the righteous path.
