csberryHellish week this past week. I need to just get in the habit of doing hit and run entries on this thing.
Here's a basic summary:
Monday - all right, avg Monday
Tuesday - high stress, lots of news work and horrible time trying to get guests
Wed - lots of drama and a blah day
Thurs - more drama, but show was okay
Fri - excellent show, very tired, week seemed 2 weeks long
Afraid that I can't comment on much activity other than work this past week. It was very encompassing with the mailbox bomber and such going on. I would be horribly depressed right now if it wasn't for the great show that we had on Friday. Everything seemed to go well. Spending the week broke and getting the paycheck on Friday with the extra talent fee in it was a nice prize at the end of that 5 day struggle.
Had our last birth class on Saturday. We were actually there on time and got to pick where we wanted to sit!!! Spent some of that extra money that JD got from temping during the past couple of weeks (and the 2 cakes she made for people at work...love getting $30 for baking a cake!) on some birthing supplies - birthball, roller massager, and baby sling. We also bought a window unit for the bedroom. JD's been very hot at night. I love having a frigid bedroom, but lately it's been so cold I've been wanting to sleep under a quilt while JD is naked fanning herself. So for the sake of saving our power bill from freezing the whole house, we're concentrating on chilling the bedroom.
I've started getting birthday cards and decided to get Guys & Dolls (really, I'm not gay) and Best in Show - rent/borrow it if you like dog shows and Spinal Tap. I also broke down and got Carly Simon's greatest hits because I've been stuck with her "greatest hits live" CD for too long.
Ugh, 8:30pm...I'm not looking forward to starting the show at 5am in a few weeks.
