1/3 of tax filers owe no federal taxes

Count me in on the 33% of the US tax filers that owe no taxes this year. Thanks to the elimination of the "marriage penalty" and the increase in the child credit, I'm getting back all of the Fed taxes Uncle Sam took from my paycheck last year. It's perfect timing and sizable enough to make a very good contribution for the house downpayment.

Thanks to the folks on Capitol Hill that let those tax cuts pass. This non-rich white boy with a new job is grateful to have been included in the bunch.
