Calvin developed a fear/hatred for cameras very early in his life. He hasn't been photographed as much as the avg kid, I'll blame it on flashes annoying him.

He hasn't freaked out so much when he sees a camera and doesn't mind them as long as they aren't taking a picture of him. We've been working on getting him to enjoy looking at the LCD viewer when we take pics. Today I took some pics of myself w/ him on the other side. I was able to get him psyched up and on the receiving end of the camera for one shot.

Such cute young men! ;) BTW, where is Calvin getting the towhead from? Your side or Jennifer's side? My nephew is a towhead too, and I have no clue where he got it from, since all of Joey's family is dark-haired and so was the X-SIL.

Both of us were towheads (although I was basically bald until I was 3...then my hair grew with a vengence).

When I decided to go platinum blonde for a year or so in college, one of my grandmothers was quite pleased (parents hated it). She used to say, "you came into this world with hair that color, so I just consider this 'going natural.'"

I'm hoping that we are making some headway on his photo-phobia. He's been doing a lot of new activities that I would love to document via photos or videos. We're planning on kite-flying this afternoon (viva flexible work hours!) and I'm going to try to get some more pics of him.
