Woke up yesterday with a small knot in my neck. After spending a 1/2 day at the office (it was a holiday after all), I came home, took some meds, and used a hotpad and a massager. I felt worse after this than I did before. Last night I got a lovely massage...though it could be considered more foreplay than focusing on my pained neck and shoulder.

Then this morning the alarm goes off and I wake my wife with a loud yelp as I whip around to turn off the alarm. I have an hour massage scheduled in 1/2 an hour and hopefully this will break the 3 weeks of being unable to shake these knots.

I'm looking forward to this greatly. It's been over two years since my last massage session.
