csberrySure, there are plenty of styles of music I'm not particularly keen to listen to. But for the sake of this entry, I'm going to state the song that when I hear it on the radio, I jump to change the station. The song that isn't worth gritting my teeth and waiting for it it finish. The song that no musician has been able to cover and improve it from its pain-causing traits.
Don McLean's "American Pie" is that song for me. If you want to see me switch from my normally perky self to a seething cauldron of hatred, start singing that song. I don't know exactly why, but I lose all sense of humor about it and wish harm upon stations that play it and people that sing it. And, no, there is no way I'm posting a video for the song. If you don't know the song, consider yourself lucky and avoid going to YouTube to find it.
