csberry | Chippy the Chipmunk

This past spring we had a new neighbor move in. Chippy the Chipmunk spends his days on our back porch chirping. He has a short *chip...chip* sound that he makes all day long. When working on my PC in the playroom, I have Chippy serenading me. Although I'm very eager for summer to be over, I am starting to wonder if/when Chippy will no longer spend his days on our back porch chairs or atop the cabinet against the house. I'm an avid bird feeder guy, but I may break down and start putting out some food in the backyard this fall for Chippy to store away for the winter. I would be lying if I said I wouldn't be sad if spring rolls around next year and there's no sign of Chippy.
