Yet again, tonight I had parents of a scout express shock and disbelief that I'm not 17 or 18 years old. I think the mom's surprise with my age may explain why she looked disturbed when I was sharing stories with another adult leader about being carded when buying alcohol.

haha, my sister has the same problem with the parents that are in the PTA at the school her children attend. she was telling me that she had to wow them over with her art skills to get them to finally realize how old she actually was.

oh well, it will pay off when you're 60 and looking 40.

one of my best friends has the same problem; plus everyone in his family looks super young. especially his grandfather. BUT he's nearly 65 and the man doesn't look a day older than 43.
