I think it was a good two years after Last Splash that I knew what "Divine Hammer" was about. I'm usually not that dense, but I was this time. Recently, my brother informed me what the meaning to The Who's "Mary Anne with the Shaky Hand" is. It seems so obvious looking at the lyrics, but I never considered exactly what her shaky hand was doing.
