One of the candidates for POTUS has recommended creating a new govt agency that will work with the mortgage and financial industry. This came from the Democratic or Green or Socialist Party, right?
NO! John McCain! Supposedly there is still an "R" after his name.

Of course, there is some lip service to a need to "streamline" govt agencies, but let's look at how well the creation and streamlining of the Dept of Homeland Security has progressed. Oh, yeah. It sucks.
When will politicians in office ever acknowledge that you can't create and streamline at the same time? Govt bloats much better than it slims and it's hard to create an agency to deal with a problem while cutting other similar agencies to accomplish that goal. That maneuver is too easily publicized as being contradictory to the stated purpose of creating the new agency...so you end up with a new agency and nothing gets streamlined.
Santa should run for presidency since a platform of "Everyone Gets on the Nice List" would be impossible for the opponents to beat. Pay me off for my vote, guys!
