I'm seeing a lot of spam today from "ninja" named domains today. I'm not looking to solve the question, but curious about how the folks on my flist feel...

crash boom bang theatre is working on an ultimate live action play that will answer the question, pirates or ninjas...and it's called Pininjas!!!
when i say ultimate, i do mean ultimate. we'll turn cars into pirate ships and have real cannons. oh the things we can get away with at the mill :)

I need clarification. How

It makes a big difference.

Well. One pirate versus one ninja, the ninja wins. Nothing is more deadly than a single ninja.
One pirate versus twenty ninjas, the pirate wins after a tough fight.
One pirate versus a thousand ninjas, he's in basically no danger and can pick them off at his leisure.
Standard law of fiction: the deadliness of ninjas varies inversely with the number of ninjas.
