Morbid Thought

Colin Powell refused to run for POTUS ("President of the US" for the non-political wonk - see also "SCOTUS" for the Supreme Court) because of his wife's concern that some wacko would try to assassinate him as a candidate or possibly as the first black POTUS.

With Obama in a position where he's in a strong conflict with Hillary and likely to be the Dem nominee, I have a few, admittedly morbid, questions.

I now wish I did check boxes for the last question about who the assassin(s) will be. I think there will be several attempts, but it will be a combo of racists and wackos.

Funny, I'm finding "Obama assassination porn" everywhere now.

You know the last two assassination attempts were on Republicans, right?

Clinton had his fair share of assassination attempts. Many of them were very lame - assault rifle firing at the White House and the Cessna that crashed into the side of the WH come to mind immediately - but they were attempts nonetheless.
