I was quickly pulled in by Buckley's wit, speech, and ideas when I first started watching him on PBS. He was the kind of competitor that fought well, yet maintained the respect, if not the admiration, of his opponents. There should be more people like him than Ann Coulter.

i couldnt stand his opinions and his almost constant criticism of all things not 'republican', but damn he was good at doing it.

we need more people with a gift for words, people like WFB jr are a rare thing.

I wanted to lead his life and set out to do so just after college.

I forgot the part about inheriting millions of dollars so I wouldn't have to live on canned tuna for the first 10 years.
