I think my parents will be far more excited about the restart of the NASCAR stuff than they were about the Super Bowl. I might be a lot more interested in NASCAR if my parents weren't so crazy about it. Once that starts back, what will happen is the race will start a few minute before I leave after having lunch with them every Sunday, so I'll, like from 2000-2007, will have to sit through that awful pre-race time where they talk about everything for an hour and do all that silly stuff like get some celebrity to say "Gentlemen, start your engines" and have some other person murder the national anthem. :-)

Pre-game/race shows and ceremonies are hellish and really should be cut. I usually wait until an hour into race coverage before I start up the race on the DVR so I can FF through all the muck.
