Thom Zelenka produced Phil Valentine's morning show at WTN when I started there in '95. A few years later, he decided to pursue his dreams by moving to NYC and trying to become an actor. After a short return to Nashville, this past year he decided to head for L.A. for another shot at acting. The above video was made by Thom and certainly highlights his photography and wit. Imagine if Jack Black had Seth Rogan's personality - that's Thom.

But I honestly don't know where Thom got that "hardman" haircut like Patrick received in Coupling.

The British Coupling is one of my favorite shows of all time. The first two seasons were brilliant! Jeff is my favorite.

The US version, not so much.

I loved the BBC Coupling until Jeff was replaced. It seemed that Moffat kept writing the Jeff character and just changed the name and actor. But it wasn't the same. JD and I were distraught by the show "jumping the shark" and stopped watching. With our recent switch to satellite, we have BBC America again and I caught a couple of the last episodes. While I missed Jeff, the show was still well done. I'm now watching it habitually despite having the first two seasons on DVD.
