csberryWork is still keeping me very busy right now. So, when I get 9 minutes free to post, what do I want to write about?
Did you see Britney on the VMA's?! JD and I flipped over to MTV right before the encore presentation started. We hear the two talent talking about some of the highlights and they said something like, "Wow! Britney is back!" We decide to stick around. I don't think we actually watched more than a 1/4 of the song because we both had to hide our faces in embarrassment. We were dumbstruck that the same performance that make us nauseous was praised by the MTV talent after the show.
I was very relieved to read a little while ago that others agreed that she looked, performed, and lip-synched HORRENDOUSLY. I think the performance is about tied w/ the Miss Teen SC flub from a week ago.
OH, and I still love Sarah - even after a hit and miss routine in front of industry-folk that don't usually laugh when you insult stars.

Date: 2007-09-11 01:10 am (UTC)What I loved was when they cut to the people in the audience, and they looked embarrassed too. It was like everybody felt embarrassed because of her, rather than for her.
She REALLY should have dressed for the occasion. She just can't pull off the sparkly underwear look anymore. Sheesh.
It was just kinda painful to watch.
