Point Mallard went very well yesterday. We arrived as they opened, found a great spot to set up camp, and both of the boys had a blast in the kid area. Calvin stumbled upon a boy about his size and two of them teamed up to explore the play area. Nigel spent some quality time on the "beach" playing with the sand. The wave pool was met with some reserved joy. It took a while, but I was able to get Calvin to let me hold him as I waded to where the waves were cresting around 4 feet from the bottom. His face would get splashed but not too much when the waves crashed against our bodies. After 3 hours there, we were all thoroughly worn out.

Today as I walked to my car on the way to the office, I pulled up some weeds and stopped. I looked at the yard. I looked at the sky. I felt the wind blowing on my face. I then turned around, changed clothes, and spent the morning mowing my yard. It was the first time for me to do so in a couple of months. There is nothing like a cut and edged yard to make me feel proud.

...damn, my dad really perverted me with his lawn obsession.

I like fresh cut grass. I like the smell. I have good news for now. I do have to do more testing and stuff before the surgery, but the doc says it is not going to be too bad. He said that he is only going to have to stable them off. I am not sure what that means but he said it is not as invasive as having to cut them out. He advised that I am still at level 3. He wants to see if I can shrike them further down. I have to go to see the Colona and Digestive Diseased clinic before the surgery to make sure everything is ok. I have seen Dr. Brown a few times before so this won’t be anything new. I am just hoping that they will put me to sleep for the exam stuff. I have never been put to sleep before and it was horrible. Wish me luck. Much love!!! We need to do lunch sometime or something. I really would like to meet you and thank you!

If you aren't taking Metamucil daily, I would highly recommend you doing that. I was skeptical because I'm a fan of high-fiber cereal and doubted fiber was my problem. There's no polite way to word this that comes to mind right now, but the consistency of what comes out now is a billion times softer than before. Doing this may help you out quite a bit if the doctors weren't in shock when they saw your rear. ;)

Personally, I think Metamucil (just the regular/original stuff) is nasty in water, but I love it in a glass of OJ each morning.

I have been putting it in OJ. I bought some when the troubles started with the bleeding. I keep forgetting to drink it first thing in the morning but I will remember tonight. It kind of tastes like Tang. I am trying to get use to it. It isn't too bad. I try to drink it fast before it gets to thick. He did say that it was a little bit worse than before but because of my IBS and other things he wants to have me check by the specialist. I feel like an abductee of an alien experiment. Ha (nervously). Thank you Cory for all of the advice you have given me. You are a truly cool person. Much loves!!!
