I guess this means I'm a good parent

After a fun overnight-playdate and Saturday with my parents, Calvin started to go sour during dinner tonight. It spiraled into a full-blown tantrum and we decided to come home.

While my mother and I went down to the basement to gather the boys' stuff, she looks over at me and says:
"Cory, you must have the patience of Job. If I had Calvin around all the time, they would have locked me away in a padded room by now."

Yes, you ARE a good Dad! It did make me smirk, however, wondering, 'Is she really complimenting you or insulting your child?' Haha, I highly doubt she was, but it just made me chuckle. Calvin is a sweet kid, but I can tell he's a hand-full as well! Looking forward to sending him to "big kid school" soon?
