I love rainy days...

Rain was soaking Huntsville this morning as I drove into work. As I turned into Old Town cutting through into downtown, 10cc's "I'm Not in Love" comes on the radio - the rain a great percussive companion to the song. I had to sit in the car after parking to wait for the song to finish.

*sigh*

The head is feeling better today. More like wearing a snug fur cap this morning...but noise makes the claws come out. :(

"I'm Not In Love" is a great song. Too bad many compilations have the shortened version on it. The long version is wonderful.

Alas, it was the short version with that horrible, horrible cut. The engineer that made that splice deserves to be edited, himself, with a razor. It is such a disjointed moment in such a mellow song.
