Election 2008: Things Can Only Get Better, Right?

Would conservatives stay with the GOP (and not go to the Constitution Party or whatever 3rd Party snags the most attention) if it was:

Rudy Giuliani & JC Watts?

It would add conservative cred to Rudy and a non-dual white guy ticket against the Clinton/Whomever or Obama/Whomever campaign.

Rudy Giuilani is a paranoid freak who isn't adverse to abusing his power. He seems prone to confusing things that are genuinely a problem with things he just doesn't personally like. Although I like the idea of any successful Republican candidate at all that manages to break free from the nexus of power that's controlled the party since the Clinton era, I fear we'd be trading Stupid for Crazy.

Although I don't know what you could do to make me vote Republican short of putting a gun to my head. I mean, I'm all in favor of good politicians regardless of party, but they will always be in the minority, and thus, I choose the party that represents the smallest number of things that piss me off.

Rudy isn't above playing the race card. Too bad neither one of them is competent enough to run the country.

The only decent looking Republican is Ron Paul, and he has no chance.

Not saying the Dems have a bumper crop of able leaders, but Rudy only found fame for doing his job after he screwed things up so far beyond belief that he could do nothing but look good after September 11th.

Hey lets put our emergency hq in the last terrorist target. GREAT IDEA!
