3 Weeks and 4 Shows to Go
I'm getting so many questions from co-workers about how much longer I have until I leave that I've been forced to keep an accurate count.
It's been decided that the family will be flying out here the Thursday after my last day of work. JD and I will have 5 days (which I'm not totally preoccupied w/ work and making certain that I'm not called constantly by Darrell needing questions answered) to get the house packed. We are going to rent a UHaul on Friday morning and pack it up during the day. We'll leave for Huntsville bright and early Saturday morning. With the UHaul, it should be a 12-14 hour drive. Joy. I'm just hoping it has a functional cassette player so I'm not stuck talking to myself or listening to bad radio in LA and MS.
JD, HOWEVER, will be on a plane w/ Calvin so they don't have to pull the car over every couple of hours for breast feeding/diaper change/etc. Wimp. :)
