csberrySnow! Snow! Actually on the ground! Snow!
OMG, snow, snow, snow!
It's only an inch or so, but it has taken my living back in Huntsville for nearly 4 years for me to get as much snow as I had in a year during my time in Dallas.
Nigel got a huge grin on his face when I showed him the snow-covered backyard and playground. I can't wait for Calvin to wake up and show him...other than the fact that he'll likely push to play outside. Hmmmmm, guess I need to see if H'ville has canceled school for today although there's no accumulation on any pavement.
EDIT: I opened the shade on Calvin's window and he didn't see the snow all over the backyard...he only saw that the porch was wet. I walk him to the backdoor window. Oh, there is snow outside. That's neat, Daddy...I want to watch "Wonder Pets" now, please.
*sigh*
Made me wish that he did demand to go out and play.

Date: 2007-02-01 01:32 pm (UTC)I have like two specks of snow on my balcony, but the folks on news channel 5 are still acting as if it is snowmaggedon 2k7.
Now I gotta head into work.
