What to Do When You See a Robot

Calvin is a sensitive boy that scares easily. JD and I have to comfort him and reassure him a lot. One evening my brain scrambled for something encouraging to say to him when I left. My mind flashed to one of his edu-video games. There's one section that has robots which you can dispense with by jumping upon them. I told Calvin goodbye and, "If you see a robot, jump on his head and squish him."

He had a big giggle.

Since then, it has become something that he says when saying goodbye...to everyone. It is very funny for us to see relatives', friends', or strangers' faces when we say goodbye and he launches into his cautionary advice on how to deal with a robot.
