Out of the Closet
Jan. 11th, 2007 04:27 pmI can keep it a secret no longer. I purchased Justin Timberlake's Futuresex/Lovesounds a couple of weeks ago and I really like the album. Granted, there are some tracks that give me N*Sync Heebeejeebees, but most of the songs have the kind of blue-eyed soul that attracted me to George Michael (and keeps me listening to most cuts from Faith and everything on Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1).
I'd give a detailed critique but, honestly, JD kidnapped Justin so I've only listened to the album 2 or 3 times all the way through. But today, I sent in Special Forces to extract Justin from her clutches. He's sitting here on my desk awaiting return to his jewel case.

I think Rick, simply due to Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the Dixie Chicks, and the one track he produced on the JT album. I think it's rather ironic that the guy got his start producing hip-hop and Slayer albums.
