Texas man stages pig races and sells sausages in hopes of getting an Islamic association to move.

The bigotry is one thing but...

"Earlier this month, Baker conceded that the Muslims probably aren't after his land, but he said he had to go through with the pig races because 'I would be like a total idiot if I didn't. I'd be the laughingstock now because I've gone too far.'"

Also the fact that 100 people attended the race in heavy rain...add all those people to the list, too.

While the Saudi Arabia discrimination is silly beyond words; no race/creed/faith is free from prejudice and/or bigotry.

Christian business owners have refused service or employment from people with differing beliefs. This includes refusing hotel rooms to unmarried couples, jobs to homosexuals, or forced conversion of "savages." Even members of other Christian denominations have been refused to service or employment (evangelicals against Catholics is the first to come to mind).

Some radical Muslims undertake terrorist acts and ALL Muslims, Arabs, or anyone that may look like either are suddenly under suspicion? Illegal immigrants from South America come into our country every day and any poor Latino is usually assumed to be as such?

I get headaches from severe rolling of eyes from hearing one group of people complain about the generalized perceptions of a differing group and the individual actions that reinforce those perceptions. (Clarification: I'm referring to the Katy guy and others, not your comment.)

The overwhelming reason for my disgust is that he finally admits he's wrong and then does nothing about it.

Then did something that is neither illegal, immoral, nor .. well, it is fattening.

You are absolutely right. But why did they do it? Do you believe that they didn't mean to offend? What did the article say? It wasn't mean-spirited, "It's just Texas-spirited." Gimme a break. I will count this as "progress" in that instead of the KKK rallies of 40ish years ago, now it's just a bunch of pigs racing.

Come on, the guy was being an ass and even though he found out that his earlier supposed reason for getting upset (that the association wanted his land and not just the fact that they're next to his property) was wrong, he went on with it anyway. I'm just glad that the Muslim group is taking it in stride (based on their comments in the article).
