JD and I spent an hour sitting in front of my monitor watching the Doctor Who Christmas episode that I...uh...found on the internet a couple of days ago. I'm glad I didn't wait until Sci-Fi aired it (assuming they would - I wouldn't assume as much with them) but now I'm pained by the fact that I'm going to have to wait until next summer for Series 3 to air on Sci-Fi. I have been trying to find a date on when the BBC will start the new series/season since downloading this show was pretty easy and the quality superb.

Oh, I guess I'll finally break down and reinstate my Netflix account and start watching the classic series. I think I'll finish off reading the Doctor Who sites I went to after the show and see about getting in touch with the old stuff.

If I recall correctly, it'll be a few months. I seem to remember it started back up in March or April last year.

In the meantime, seek out "Torchwood," if you haven't already. Some episodes are merely passable, one's actively awful, and others are great.

John Barrowman, who plays Cap'n Jack. got married to a man the other day.

I haven't watched any "Torchwood" yet because nearly every critic I read was either puzzled or dismissive of the show. I read somewhere that the head writer considers all the characters to be bi and that will manifest itself during the course of the show.
