Productive and Exhausted
Jun. 1st, 2008 04:47 pm1. Mowed the front and back yards
2. Put in the green metal border around the newly mulched area in the front yard (about 50 feet worth).
3. Pulled the last of the green metal border out of its hiding place in the back of the yard and lined up for placement along the newly mulched area on the south side of the house (about 30 feet worth).
4. Sprayed Roundup on the bits of bermuda grass that JD didn't dig up before tilling and a few patches where it's invading the established bed.
While it was in the upper 80's today, the clouds increased in the afternoon, so I was in low-level heat misery. Since it looks like we're about to hit a patch of 90's, I really wanted to get as much yard work done today as I could.
After my shower, my body decreed that the day is over. I feel like a yeti gave me a squeezy-hug. Somehow I have to will myself through the evening routine and get these boys to bed. A coma will follow for me.
