Fun at the Office
Jun. 20th, 2007 12:45 pmI am back at the office today.
***
Before I continue with this post, I must thank God for me to have the employment situation that I have. I don't work on my feet, I didn't have a boss demanding me back to work, I could do nearly everything from my job from the comfort of my bed at home, I don't have set times to work, and I continued to pull in a regular paycheck during the surgery and recovery period. There are a lot of people out there that aren't blessed with those factors and doing what they do would be far more of a pain/hassle after doing the same surgery and recovery with which I've dealt.
***
I brought in a pillow to help cushion my desk chair. My ass is handling the hours I've spent in the chair today better than it handled 15-20 minute rides in the car the past couple of weeks. My biggest fear of a need to have a BM here at the office has yet to happen (I'm not phobic, but I have strong inclinations to hold it in until I get home instead of using public toilets). The last thing I've wanted is to come here and have difficulties resulting in some sort of pain while I'm here or heading home to seek relief from an icepack, medicine, or my bed.
I've been very productive and feel no guilt taking the 3 minutes to jot this down. *sigh* I wish this kind of work contentment to everyone on my flist, although I know that
auronsgirl is close to blissed out at work as I am.
