VH1 is now airing the Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps." I had never heard it before Thursday night. I am now haunted by nightmares of Fergie talking about her "lovely little lumps." However, my wet dreams feature some of her wardrobe from the video.

The song probably has Rick James rolling in his grave. I've got to imagine that "My Humps" is some sort of freaky tribute to the Mary Jane Girls and Sheena Easton's "Sugar Walls." It also has a certain 2 Live Crew and Sir Mix A Lot feel to it.

But each time I catch it on TV, I have to watch the video. I'll plead "car wreck rubbernecking" for why I'm compelled to watch.
