Aug. 26th, 2003 03:50 pmCalvin is starting to ride on his sittin scooter, but you gotta push him around. We started to the a new game today. I guess you can call it "Tall Man/Short Man Chicken." The two of us walk right towards each other and I put my legs bowlegged at the last minute so he can walk under me (a task that may not be possible if I wasn't 6'2"). It just makes him giggle and he keeps turning around and walking at me.
Heard that a friend of mine is returning to Gnashville after nearly 6 years living in NYC. Got tired of the cost of living, terrorism threats, etc and is bringing his girlfriend to the South.
Another friend of mine has extended an invitation for me to be a guest speaker up at Western Kentucky University. That was a nice ego boost.
Found a nice "provider of marital aids" here in town and JD went by today and purchased a video since they were about 25% of what we've seen in Dallas and Nashville in previous years. Have rented and copied a few thru the years, but I've never actually bought one.
