Cory's Mystery of the Day

Today I was out shooting for the video I'm producing for Second Mile (local charity). One stop was at Ridgecrest Elementary School. I walk in with the cameraman's lighting suitcase and head back to the library. One of the ladies from Second Mile comes up to me in the library and tells me that there was "a blonde woman" who asked if my name was Cory and that she went to school with me. A couple of minutes later, the Second Mile lady tells me the blonde had walked into the library to look at me but then left.
When I finished the work, I stopped by the office and mentioned that I was told that there was a blonde in the office that knew me. The two ladies behind the desk looked at me like I was sprouting a second head out of my shoulders. They said there were two women that had been in there, but both were brunettes. Of course, they mentioned the women by their last names...which usually means squat assuming they're married/divorced.
I know it's going to KILL ME until I solve this riddle. I've already visited the school's website with no help there. I wonder if the Huntsville library keeps yearbooks for the public schools? It is not beyond my curiosity and courage to go back to the school later next week to look at their yearbooks if the public library doesn't have them.
Hopefully it won't come to that.
