Playing Chicken with the Wife

It's set. I scheduled a photo session at Portrait Innovations for Friday at 1:40pm for our Christmas postcard photo. There is a strong chance it will only be the boys, but I'm going to push for JD to pull herself out of her recent "I'm fat" funk (seems every time she diets and exercises she sees the fat she has and not what she's losing).

When she gets home, I'll tell her that it is scheduled for the whole family and see how long it is going to take before she takes a stand at not making it a family picture.

One of my tasks this past weekend was to finish organizing our loose photos (in prep of putting them into photo albums and a new frame we bought a couple of weeks ago). I came upon several pictures I took when we were living in sin. My favs were from a series of pics I took while JD was reading or something. One of those "I'm taking pictures of you even though you don't want me to" while she's all "If I ignore you, you'll leave me alone."

Several of those pictures had me quite "excited" and expounded about how sexy she is and how a full body shot in one picture didn't look much different than how she looks now. Using her Female Semantic Judo, I had to clarify that I wasn't saying she was fat then or that her efforts to lose weight were for naught.

JD is a very pretty lady. I can certainly understand the "I'm fat" feelings, but she has the most amazing smile and pretty face besides being pretty all around.

Tell her someone all the internet said so. It'll make all the difference! :D
