The first image that ran through my mind when I hit upon the idea of the dance was me, on stage, trying to mime-dance my mother giving birth to me.

By the way, my wife told me a few minutes ago that she will not accompany me to the award ceremony if I am going to dance on stage. Would you be my date if I ever get nominated?
