Oh, God, It's So Good!

JD and I went by the recently opened European Market off of South Parkway today (Mason Center strip mall by Ethan Allen - go to far end toward L&N). They have a great selection of imported foods - especially Britain, Germany, and Russia. I believe my mom told me that it's owned by a Russian woman. What I was hoping for - AND FOUND - are Curly Wurly bars.

Some of you might remember the Marathon bars from the 70's. Curly Wurly bars are the same thing and are sold via Cadbury in the UK. I stumbled upon them at the British import store a couple of blocks from my first place in Dallas. The thin nature of the "bar" is what makes this candy quite delightful to me.

NO WAY!!!! I LOVED Marathon bars! I wondered whatever happened to them! They were HUGE! Cool!

Do they have imported music as well?

No music. They focus on food. There is a small display in the back with medications/ointments and a stand with magazines, but everything else is food related (even have a "deli").

Curly wurly bars = $1.49
