Jun. 13th, 2005 08:38 pmI like an editorial from the Huntsville Times today about the Confederate flag waving next to I-65 near Montgomery:

It seems that although "politically correct" has been adopted into the English language, people don't seem to recognize it as much as they did a decade ago. Politics often result in a faction abusing the system to quell their rivals. It is, sadly, only when the tides change that many seem to realize what rights were lost to the minority.
Would the story make any difference to you if it was a rainbow banner/gay pride flag?
Or a Nazi flag?
Or a foreign flag (France, Russia, Iraq, or even South Africa during apartheid)?
Or the American flag upside-down?
