The National Weather Service and the Weather Channel have been jumpin on my nerves lately. For the past week, I've been begging for a break from the upper 80's with high humidity. Each day looks to be cooler than the present day. But the reality is much warmer than they want me to believe it is. The forecasting is to the point where I'm having to automatically adjust the projected high temp up 5-7 degrees. Today was the umpteenth time in the past two weeks where the temp at 11am is 5+ degrees more than the forecast high and around 7-10 degrees more than what was estimated for the time of day.

I know, how pedestrian can csberry get? Complaining about weathermen is about as exciting to read as...okay, most everything else that I post.

St. Louis was more hellish over the summer than both Nashville and Huntsville (the four years in Tuscaloosa, though, involved breathing body-temp water vapor between May-Sept). I'll gladly take back Dallas's 90-100 degree/low humidity days to these 85 degree steambaths.
