I read earlier today that Tom Cruise's publicist announced that Tom is officially dating Katie Holmes. She's 26 and he's 42. JD - "That's not that bad really."

That's the saddest part to me. I never watched Dawson's Creek or whatever teen drama she used to be on, but a year or so ago I saw some pics of her in Entertainment Weekly that grabbed my attention.

It is so selfish for Tom to remove her from the market! Surely there's a closeted lesbian out there he could date (Condi Rice or Jodie Foster?).

You haven't seen Katie Holmes, until you've seen her in the film: "The Gift." THEN you've seen her ... and her gifts ... and I ain't talking about her acting skills. ahem.

I just flipped on the TV a little while ago and saw that "Pieces of April" was on Showtime. Since it has Oliver Platt, I set the Tivo to record the 4:15am showing.

A quick trip to IMDb reminded me that I had seen her in "The Ice Storm" and "Go," although I just barely remember her character in "Go."
