Same Station, New Location

At the turn of the century, I started an account on LiveJournal. I kept that blog active (with dry spells every now and then, of course) until June of 2016. Since then: even fewer people I know post on their old blogs, I've been in a depression, Russians took greater control of LJ and civil libertarians got more concerned, and I've come to the conclusion I want to give the whole blogging thing another run...but someplace other than LiveJournal.

So, here I am. My posts are still going to mostly be about my listening to the Rolling Stone Top 500 Albums. I will post long form stuff that I don't wanna put on Facebook and will be customizing this blog and adding tags and such for LiveJournal posts I imported here when I started the account. Maybe I'll write about beer more... I dunno.

I am hopeful that I'm coming out of my depression and growing back into a complete and confident person again. As that happens, I'm sure this blog will evolve. You are welcome to come along.
