How Chocolate Will Make Calvin Healthier

Last month the annual ritual of the chocolate-filled Advent calendar had a new participant. My parents bought Calvin a calendar. After a couple of days he started asking for his "choklot-a-day." After the 25th, he kept asking for his "choklot-a-day." We kept telling him that there was no more chocolate-a-day because Santa came. Still he kept asking. So this weekend I bought some My First Flintstones vitamins and some Flintstones w/ Extra C. Now, Calvin asks for his "vi-men-a-day." He gets one and Daddy and/or Mommy take one of the Extra C vitamins. That boy loves his vitamins now!

Yeah, we've got animal-shaped vitamins, and my kids think they're candy. They love taking their vitamins. The problem is that they often whine when I tell them they can only have one a day. The Advent calendar was probably really good conditioning for Calvin.
