I had a late night last night. Went to one of our clients to assist them in preparation for a proposal to NASA today. I was getting some money for being a printing fiend. From 3pm until 1am, I had two color printers running non-stop doing 8 101-page books for the evaluators.
Sleep didn't arrive until late in the 3am hour because I kept thinking about printing documents, what page am I on, and sorting papers as I tried to drift off to slumberland.
One of the highlights of the evening/night was that the guy in charge of the presentation and I discovered our mutual love for The Pixies. I was quite intrigued since he's somewhere in the 40-45 age range. He said that he missed a chance to see them in '92 and tried to get tix for their concert(s) in the D.C. area. I was asked to provide him with a blow-by-blow of their concert in B'ham and we were able to compare notes on when we had seen Frank on tour in the first years of his solo career.
