I knew of the libertarians invading...New Hampshire?...to take it over and turn it into a libertarian state in hopes of snowballing the political influence of the Libertarian Party.

Well, all I can say is definitely ... maybe. I don't recall but, either way, mums the word.

I would have added Take On Me, but Sugar_Candy already had that one on her list, and I didn't wanna look like I was copyin'.

So tell me, how does a hard working cable guy with too much education and experience for his current line of work, break into a field like PR? My Communication degree is collecting dust (and tears) while I'm crawling around under houses.

re: Career change - It's all about the networking/who you know. I work for a small company (like 5 employees), but it is a growing business that is branching out to do more government contracting.
