JD's and my "cycles" have been a bit off this past week. I've been super horny and even a swat to her behind won't elicit a giddy response. It was especially frustrating Thursday night when ABC was carrying the Victoria's Secret fashion show (that's one of the two channels we can pick up on the bunny ears).
Thankfully, one of those two problems has just been rectified (okay, both if you consider that we finally had sex after several days of begging on my part)...WE GOT CABLE. It's evil cable though. AT&T Broadband has a monopoly in our area; so we got stuck with their digital cable, their 2 coax cable system - which means we have to pay rent on converter boxes that have a single coax output...also means no recording on channel and watching another, and their Motorola brand converter box isn't listed on any of our 3 universal remotes so we have to rent 2 remotes too. But we finally have the music, news, and learning channels again. No more snowy images! Okay, the public/govt access ones are horrible quality, but we can get over that.
We have the Margarita Ball to go to tonight. I spent just over $100 for a tux, JD spent around $250 on her dress, shoes, etc.. Jenny Puckett was very nice to make JD some beaded earrings and a necklace to go w/ her dress (oh, it's a smoky-lilac floor length w/ thick spaghetti straps and a matching shawl). She's going to be the designated driver tonight, so I get to sample all of the different margaritas available! Darrell and the program director, Jeff, will be coming together in their nice business suits. They figured if they came together, it might lessen the blow of being underdressed. Darrell doesn't drink, so tonight will be spent as a business networking opportunity anyway.
I've got to work on Thanksgiving and the day after, but D will be doing the show from a studio in StL because it's been nearly 7 weeks since he's seen his wife and kids. He's go so much sexual tension, he's barely been able to sleep. I've been trying to book Dr. Ruth for a 5 minute interview on Tuesday before D flies to StL to talk w/ us about "forced abstinence."
I'll definitely post about what happens tonight, but I think I'll go back to watching the Bama/Auburn game now.
