Discovered a new household weapon

Came home after being a sentry for the Rocket City Marathon and was headed for the shower. To keep warm, I wore a pair of flannel pajamas under my uniform. Upon separating the flannel pj's from the polyester Scout pants, my body and the air was filled with an over-abundance of static electricity. I was scared to try to touch anything out of the knowledge that there was an inevitable zap on the way. Unfortunately, I don't think the flannel-out-of-polyester-pants trick will be of any use with an intruder.
