I'm glad Dish Network has good customer service, as I haven't had to deal with that yet. I had to reset it once for symptoms you describe, but it started working fine with no lag after that. Still, considering I have 30+ movies I haven't watched on top of the 40 episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba that is my precious, the thought of loosing the DVR seems entirely too dreadful to contemplate.
