Chitlins

Is this just a Southern thing?

I've been listening to WHRP (The Adult Mix) a bunch lately when I'm in the car (Love you Teri Terrell - my best girlfriend!). Lately, there's been a spot for Queenella Chitterlings about how grandma used to make them for the holiday and how buying/cooking some up is what you need.

I'm not a BIG listener of R&B radio, but I don't recall hearing chitlin commercials in Dallas or St. Louis. Anyone else hearing ads for chitlins?

Haven't heard any ads for them, but I sure remember the times back in the early 80s when we got "Chitlins" from D. T. Day and Sons Grocery (then a good meat market in Centre, AL) and they made cornbread SO much better. And so much healthier! :-)
