Stimulating Lowe's
Jun. 29th, 2008 04:41 pmJD and I took the 10% off coupon and the $160 gift card to Lowe's today. The gift cards were going to cover an Xmas gift of a new cabinet to hold chemicals in the garage (get rid of the plastic one that warped last summer from the heat and this one has a lock to keep the kids out). Included in the mix was a handful of water filters for the fridge (at a discount since we were buying three), closet organizers for the boys' closet, some gardening supplies, and a white "temporary" shade to cover the large window in our back door. The sun that pours through that window in the late morning really heat up the playroom.
We spent over $400 (okay, subtract the $160 from the gift card) of the stimulus money at Lowe's but we're happy that everything we bought is needed.
